Starting a laser tag gaming business
A. Using our many years of experience we will work with you to establish your needs within your budget. Most businesses and customers start with a minimum package of 10 to 20 sets of equipment, plus game devices to suit their needs.
This then allows up to 10/20 to play Laser Tag.
We provide free quotes and guidance on the most suitable package for our customers needs. We can provide various equipment package options for customers to consider.
Yes. We will always strive to match any like for like quote. The quotes from us cover all costs to give our customers peace of mind that there are no hidden costs.
There are too many options to mention here, but most of our customers tend to purchase the equipment that allows their customers to see their laser tag gaming scores live on a big screen, during gaming sessions. Click here to see an example package. (link to AR15 package)
Yes, we offer full technical support. Simon is our laser tag Subject Matter Expert (SME) and can often be found testing, repairing (not very often) or just tinkering with the laser tag kit. Simon is always available to discuss any issues using many of the usual communications methods, such as Whatsapp, Skype, email and so on.
Cadet Forces & Laser Tag
It would take too long to explain the numerous LTE applications for Cadet Forces here so please click here for a quick reference guide of how you can use the LTE.
You can click here to see how a CCF Contingent have integrated the LTE into their training program to benefit cadets.
You can also click here to see it being used by Cadets in a short video from the Cadet Cambrian Patrol.
Simon Adams our Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be your main point of contact. Simon is fanatical about LTE and as well as providing outstanding Laser Tag Gaming sessions for our customers at our own Laser Tag Centre, he is really a bit of a geek with the LT kit.
He can often be found tinkering with some piece of LT kit or another, as well as providing business customers with tips and ideas on how to use the LTE to their advantage.
No, not when you take all the factors into account. With blank ammunition and paintballs for example you will have to constantly buy or budget for more ammo (paintballs & blank rounds) for every session. Laser Tag does not have this ongoing cost.
Over time the Laser Tag kit will pay for itself, plus you can use it to make money for your unit. Click here for an example on how to raise funds for your unit.
Yes, is the short answer, but it is not as onerous as perhaps becoming a Skill at Arms Instructor for Cadets! Like any kit it takes some training and practise to get to grips with it, but in our experience with our own staff, it is not something that would unduly phase a CFAV or even a Senior Cadet.
We will provide all customers with a full set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to get up and running with the LTE, as well as ongoing advice and guidance.
Our LTE has been field tested at Sennybridge Training Area in Mid Wales in the most atrocious weather and received an outstanding testimonial from the Officer Commanding of 160 (Wales) Brigade Cadet Training Team (CTT). We have been using LTE with our customers at our outdoor and indoor facilities for over 6 years now and it is fair to say it has proven to be robust and reliable in all weathers. We have had the occasional damage from a young person falling over, but this is to be expected and is normally a quick change of a part to have the item working again in no time.
They are all professional British Army soldiers who have each served over 22 years plus in the Army, so they expect functional and robust kit that will do the job required.
They are responsible for the assurance training of adult volunteers and young people in the UK Cadet Forces, in particular at events such as the Cadet Cambrian Patrol.
The LTE is actually based on Infra Red technology like a TV remote control. Players can shoot at each other’s headbands or battle vests and when hit this will reduce a players gaming ‘health or lives.’ The LTE can be used in various formats depending on your needs. These are:-
- Turn Key Mode (TKM) – this is a quick and simple set up, where the equipment is switched on and configured using a Smart Pro Remote. This then allows players to get straight into the action with minimum fuss. Playing scores are not available in this mode, so players will play until they are eliminated or they achieve the game mission objectives.
- Full Statistics Mode (FSM) – this mode is where the LTE is linked to a wifi router (internet access not required) that allows the gaming software to generate either live or post game statistics for each player. Basically, this is like the leader board in online gaming such as Call of Duty and is what the majority of customers prefer. It becomes very competitive! There are many other benefits of using this mode.
The Headband holds the infra-red sensors that receive the shots from the other players. This is linked to the software that will then update all the shooting hits, misses and near misses into the system software.
The instructors and players can then see their results on a big screen, or even online so the Leader Board will be hotly contested by Cadets/players. Battle vests that work on the same principle can also be purchased if preferred.
We have LT kit to suit all needs and budgets. Simon would be happy to put together a quote based on your individual needs. We firstly believe in making sure we understand how you want to use and integrate the LTE into your business or organisation. This will then allow us to recommend a package that will work best for you and your cadets. Click here for an example package for Cadet Forces.
The main LTE comes with a 12-month warranty. We are real people and not some faceless entity on the internet, so we want to support you so you can get the best out of the equipment for your customers and users.
Simon and our team will provide a comprehensive level of customer service. If there is ever a problem, which is quite rare, Simon makes it his personal mission to get it sorted for our customers. We use all the usual communication methods and Simon will gladly have a video call with customers to talk them through any issues to resolve a problem.
