Have you considered going paintball, but you are a bit too nervous? Laser-Tag at Teamforce Swansea is the perfect option! As someone who winces at the thought of getting hit with a paintball (although Low Impact paintball doesn’t instil quite as much fear) I tried out Laser-Tag on a whim hoping I would get the same adrenaline rush as paintball minus the hits, and I did!
Towards the end of last year I went to Teamforce with a group of female friends to celebrate a birthday, we wanted to do something other than a spa day, or shopping trip so we chose a day playing Laser-Tag in the great outdoors. I knew the girls would take some convincing to throw themselves around in the Laser Tag Gaming Zones, but I was certain that when we arrived, they would soon start to get into the competitive spirit – which they did.
The professional and friendly staff kitted us out with headbands and taggers, then we had a quick safety brief and were told our mission objectives and were sent into battle! Because the equipment uses infrared technology there was no need for any protective equipment or safety goggles. We all loved the idea of being able to use Smoke Grenades (over 18 years only) and they certainly helped us win the capture the flag mission!
At the end of the day we all agreed that choosing Laser-Tag instead of a Spa day was a good idea even though we were exhausted from all the running around, we have even decided that we will be playing Laser-Tag at my Hen Do in a few months’ time. Anyone who says that outdoor activities, Laser-Tag included, is just for boys/men are 100% wrong!
